Italian ALMA proposal preparation day

In addition to usual face-to-face support to whoever requests it through the official ALMA helpdesk, we are organizing an "ALMA proposal preparation day" with a tutorial on the ALMA Observing Tool and who has proposals to submit for ALMA Cycle 2 can discuss the details with our staff and get support. This one-day meeting will be held at the INAF-Istituto di Radioastronomia on the 21st of November. See the details and register here. |

The Italian node of the European ALMA Regional Centre is offering a 2-yr (renewable for a 3rd yr) post-doc position to experts in the field of (sub)millimetric astronomy, with preference for the topics of interest to our node's technical-scientific developing activities (polarisation and mm-VLBI). The assignee is expected to contribute with her/his scientific and technical expertise to enforce our node's participation to ALMA activities in these fields.
