Science Verification: Band 8

Description / Details of the target

Target: NGC3256 (J2000 10:27:51 -43:54:18).

Spectral setup: Band 8, four FDM spectral windows including one centred on the CO(4-3) line and continuum.

Capabilities to be verified

Demonstrate the Band 8 capability with the 12-m array.

Status

Observed and initial data reduction is underway. If the data is found to be of suitable quality for Science Verification an announcement will appear on the ALMA Science Portal prior to the Science Verification data being publicly released.
