Description / Details of the target

Target: Comet C/2012 F6 (Lemmon)

Spectral setup: Band 6, four FDM spectral windows including one centred on the HCN J=3-2 line.

Capabilities to be verified

This was a target of opportunity Science Verification target observed to demonstrate the Doppler tracking of ephemeris targets capability. For this, an ephemeris target with spectral line emission was required, necessitating a target of opportunity.

Status

The data was released on 7 September 2014 and can be obtained via the ALMA Science Portal.
