Introduction
PHANGS-ALMA is a survey of the molecular gas disks in 90 nearby galaxies that are typical of star-forming massive galaxies in the nearby universe. The survey resolves the molecular gas reservoir into individual molecular clouds and star-forming complexes that are the engines of star formation and galaxy evolution. The survey takes advantage of ALMA’s excellent mapping speed and sensitivity to the J=2-1 emission from the 12CO molecule, one of the best tracers of cold, star-forming gas. PHANGS-ALMA is the highest-quality, uniform survey of the resolved star-forming interstellar medium over nearby galaxies made to date. The PHANGS-ALMA data spectral line data cubes (position-position-frequency) and several derived products are detailed in the data delivery document. This release of survey data for 74 galaxies provides data with a typical angular resolution of ~1.5″ (typically ~100 pc projected), and a typical point-source sensitivity of 6.2 mJy at a spectral resolution equivalent to 2.5 km/s.

Data Delivery
The data can be obtained in several ways. For data from each project, click on the project code in the table above.
Alternatively, the data for the Large Program can be downloaded from the fileservers at each of the ALMA executives:
- download the full tarball (size: 52Gb)
- download individual files from the full tarball, organised in a directory structure which is visible here
For each of the subdirectories found there one should first consult the README file to find out what each file in that subdirectory contains.
